Meet the Buyer

Compass Group UK & Ireland will be hosting a ?Meet the Buyer? stand throughout the ScotHot event and are inviting food manufacturers and processors to come to their stand to meet some of their Central Sourcing Team. Compass Group UK & Ireland see this as a great opportunity to expand their scope of potential Scottish suppliers and want to not only give suppliers a platform to discuss their product portfolio and capabilities, but also to better understand Compass Group as a business.?

Representing the Compass Group UK & Ireland Central Sourcing Team at ScotHot will be Matt Gillison, Sourcing Director; Lisa Bradstock, Commercial Director; Lisa Fountain, Category Manager ? Meat & Poultry, Fish & Seafood, Fruit & Vegetables; along with other Category Buyers including Non-Food. If your category is not represented, the team will still be interested in meeting you! The Idea Works!

Last year Compass Group UK & Ireland launched The Idea Works!, an initiative encouraging small to medium sized businesses in the foodservice, hospitality and facilities management industries to come forward with cutting edge products, solutions and applications. Companies can submit their concepts via a dedicated website; these ideas are then shortlisted, before the suppliers behind the best ideas are invited into the boardroom to pitch their business idea to a panel of judges. Costa Coffee

Compass in Scotland in partnership with Costa Coffee will also be offering attendees the chance to discover the possibilities this partnership can bring in boosting hot beverage sales by showcasing the skills of Laska Goldsack, Barista of the Year, and a finalist in last year?s Global Costa Coffee Barista of the Year competition.
